Boehringer Ingelheim is one of the leading companies in the Over The Counter (OTC) PHC segment and for our Belgian team we are now looking for an independent and entrepreneurial Key Account Manager. In this role you get a lot of freedom to find innovative ways to add value to your customers and create strong long term relationships with the assigned Key Accounts (pharmacies and e-retailers). You also have a central and leading position in coordinating campaigns.
Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health (BI AH) is headquartered in Brussels.
This is a field based role, you will be based on your home office and your territory is Belgium.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the sales of the PHC portfolio;
Handle negotiations with e-retailers, pharmacy chains and wholesalers;
Plan and visit key customers, support them with the right tools to increase their sales;
Lead and support the external salesforce;
Contribute to the development and execution of sales and marketing materials for Belgium;
Together with Business Unit Manager and Product Manager, develop the strategy for Belgium;
Develop expertise on products, market conditions, competition and legislations;
Take part in the internal sales meetings, prepare and provide feedback to the Management Team;
Optimize productivity and profitability for the assigned products.
Bachelor Degree or similar;
At least 2/3 years of sales experience (OTC products , commercial healthcare or similar environment is an asset);
Strong motivation to work in the OTC business;
Excellent command of French, Dutch and English languages;
Broad experience with MS Office;
Strong communication skills: keep it simple and clear and able to communicate on different levels;
Curious, positive and outgoing person - natural interest in people;
Excellent presentation skills;
Independent attitude - Strong planning and time management skills, able to work under pressure and open for changes;
Team player – collaborate with your colleagues and share best practices.
