YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You are the single point of contact within the IT team with regards to all data and reporting related topics.
You analyze the requirements and changes request from the business and assist in the process to define priorities.
You participate in the analysis, implementation and delivery of projects together with the Business Application manager and the IT Project Manager.
You translate the functional requirements into functional and technical specifications
You design and implement the datawarehouse/datamart objects, the ETL as well as the actual reports and dashboards.
You manage the day-to-day support ( incidents, change requests, problems) to ensure a fast, efficient and customer focused service.
You document common procedures or maintenance activities in order to keep our first line support (service desk) up to date.
You develop training/learning material and give in-house training to the end users.
You are responsible for the user maintenance, access control management and periodic review of authorizations.
You keep yourself up to date with the latest developments and insights
You will report to the Business Application Manager.
You will closely work together with cross departmental key-users in the business ( Finance, Materials Management, Purchasing) as well as with the other Application Owners in the Business Solutions team.
YOUR PROFILE LOOKS LIKE/ RESEMBLES
You have a bachelor's or master's degree in (Life) Science or in a IT oriented direction.
You have minimal 5 years of experience working as a BI developer, preferably within the life science or chemical industry.
You can demonstrate experience implementing Microsoft data solutions ( SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI)
You feel comfortable in a dynamic and changing environment, working at the intersection of technology and business.
You like to learn and develop yourself
You are flexible, a problem solver and a team player
You have an analytical mindset and you are stress resistant
You have good communication skills and are fluent in English (written as well as spoken), any other language is considered as a plus.
