VIE/PANGEO Automation engineer (M/W)


Veolia designs and delivers services that are vital to human development and sustainable performance through three complementary business activities: water management, waste management and energy services.Aquiris is a subsidiary of VEOLIA, born following a call for tender from the Brussels-Capital Region, to design, build and operate the wastewater treatment plant in Brussels-North for 20 years. This wastewater treatment plant is used to treat the wastewater of nearly 1.4 million inhabitants. The operating period began in March 2007.Mains responsabilities of Automation engineer will be :

  • Implement new technical projects
  • Find technical solutions to replace old equipment with new ones
  • Write procedures, rules and maintenance instructions
  • Participate in the update of technical documents
  • The Automation engineer will :

  • Take part in an important project of equipments renewal (Schneider drives, Rockwell Soft starter…)

  • Test new drives before their installation

  • Challenge methodological work due to process priorities, insurance requirements and legal audits

  • Transversal position to link the technical operators and the management strategy

  • Qualifications

    Educational background: Engineer (recently graduated or in last year of study)

    Skills: industrial maintenance, automation (Allen Bradley in priority or Siemens), electricity, instrumentation

    Languages: French

    Length of the assignment : 12 months
