Description

The Senior Tax Analyst will be a member of the Tax department of the Pharmaceutical sector ("Janssen") within Johnson and Johnson and will report to the Senior Manager International Taxation

The main responsibilities of the Senior Tax Analyst will be to:
* Provide various tax calculations and analyses supporting

* Belgian patent income and innovation income deductions
* US tax reporting
* Long term financial plan

Operationalize the Belgian innovation income deduction including:
* Partnering with the R&D department on the calculation of the nexus ratio
* Partnering with the patent law department on filing and granting dates of qualifying intellectual property rights

Document Transfer Pricing models and cost allocations for assigned products and/or markets

Participate in cross-departmental and cross-border project work, including
* Partnering with the Supply Chain organization on product flow changes
* Partnering with the broader finance organization
* Partnering with local tax teams of group companies outside the US

Follow-up on ad hoc requests from various internal and external business partners and stakeholders

Be responsible for intercompany contract management

Tax review of legal documents
Qualifications
* Master degree in Tax / Finance / Economics / Law
* A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required. This experience can include relevant experience in corporate tax, international tax or transfer pricing. The position is also open for candidates having a background in Finance and a strong affinity with tax
* Accurate and compliance driven
* Strong English writing skills
* Strong communication and business partnering skills
* Good understanding of financial accounting practices
* Strong analytical skills
* Ability to assess the tax impact of new laws and regulations
* Knowledge about the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
