We are currently looking for a Support Specialist Small Molecules (m/f/d) for our Benelux team. The new associate will be remote-based and preferably located in the South Holland or in the Flemish part of Belgium.
As a Support Specialist for Small Molecules you will be field based, supporting sales in the achievement of the orders plan by provision, in a timely and professional manner, of demonstrations, sample analysis data and technical information. You will also help our customers realize the full potential of our product range through training and application support.
You will be responsible for provision of internal technical support and training for sales and service. You are also collaborating with the service organization by joint problem solving and technical coaching. You will also maintain your knowledge and expertise by attending conferences, interacting with key opinion leaders, and being an active member of the Sciex application network.
Joint visits with Sales Specialists on customer site.
Sample sets and live demos in one of our application laboratory in UK or Germany.
Work with Field Service Engineers for troubleshooting.
Deliver both instrumentation and software training courses on customer sites in Benelux.
Help with generation and promotion of new marketing content.
Master of Science Degree (or Higher) in Life sciences or related subject;
Consistent track record in chromatographic troubleshooting and method development;
Solid experience with Mass Spectrometry and Chromatographic data systems. A high level knowledge of UPLC / HPLC technology coupled to Mass Spectrometry is required;
Proficiency in Dutch or Flemish and English is a must;
Prior experience of delivering training or in a teaching mentoring role will be an advantage;
Good interpersonal skills, organisational skills and the ability to prioritize will be expected;
Willingness to travel: there will be a requirement for the candidate to spend time away from home when needed, travelling to customer sites across Benelux and to application laboratories in UK or Germany.
