As a Supply Chain Employee, you are responsible for monitoring delivery times. You are also responsible for the coordination of stocks and deliveries at the right conditions. In this function, you act as the key between the supplier and your colleagues in the commercial office and ensure that everything runs smoothly.
Most important tasks & responsibilities
You maintain contacts with our internal and external suppliers, striving for optimal cooperation and execution of activities. Placing and monitoring open orders at the suppliers is your responsibility, as is managing the back orders. You also supervise the inbound flow of all returns and deliveries relating to the suppliers.
An important task is to create and adjust our loan and consignment sets, following the correct procedures.
It goes without saying that correct and optimal data management is essential in this function, as is the analysis and management of all stock movements and the optimization of the relevant processes.
We are looking for someone with experience in a similar position, where experience in the medical industry is a plus. With knowledge of administrative processes and ERP systems (knowledge of SAP is a plus) and Microsoft office. Given the international character of our organization, you will master both Dutch, French, and English in word and writing.
In addition, you can think in a problem-solving way and are able to offer solutions for situations that are not standard. You have communication skills and are a real team player. It is important that you are accurate and like to work with figures and systems, where you proactively look at whether existing processes or work instructions can be optimized.
