Position Purpose

* Develop and lead the overall strategy to architect and effectively implement information management solutions to improve visibility of logistics delivery and spend data for all global stakeholders.Solutions will enable stakeholders to make data driven decisions, reduce expenses and improve overall customer delivery services.

* Identify the most effective technology and process improvement practices to support global business objectives. Assist business partners to model processes and deploy new systems and processes to support them.

* Lead Logistics Platform Services programs and provide global governance to ensure robust, standard solutions are designed and implemented to support the following processes; freight audit/payment, logistics services provider management (across all modes), network analytics control tower, supply chain planning and Pfizer site operational processes.

* Ensure that information infrastructure pragmatically leverages available technologies to provide end-to-end supply chain visibility and enable excellent data driven decision making.

* Lead IO's analytic programs and own the governance to ensure robust and standard solutions and operational process are designed and implemented to support IO's Tier 4 metrics & ORM framework.

* Responsible for the overall LPS platform performance

* Serve as a main liaison with Pfizer Digital and Business Intelligence (BI) to identify and implement enabling technologies that deliver standard platforms and tools to sustain logistics excellence.

* Lead collaboration across InterCompany Operations, GSC, PGS / ES production sites, commercial markets, and Pfizer Digital Technology organization. Build strong relationships with these stakeholders to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded in cost effective manner.

* Responsible for providing thought leadership - driving value of what we have & what's being built.Identify the opportunities to extend the capabilities of what's in place and improve them based on current and anticipated business needs.

* Complies with all company, government and industry policies and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities

* Strategy Development - Drive collaboration across all relevant stakeholder groups to develop information architecture; leveraging the most appropriate technologies, minimizing infrastructure redundancy and providing simple, intuitive user interfaces.

* Project Management - ensure robust, integrated and practical process and solution design for assigned projects. Formulate global designs and deployment plans that incorporate local and regional needs while maintaining global standardization. Ensure projects meet agreed-upon milestones and budgetary requirements.

* Process Governance - provide thought leadership, drive decision making and influence strategic direction for assigned project areas. As necessary, manage global providers to ensure relationships are maintained and internal customers are satisfied. Develop global business models that drive system / process deployment.

* Performance management -responsible for the overall LPS platform including freight audit, in-transit visibility and analytics.

* Solution adoption - collaborate with GSC teams, markets and manufacturing sites to ensure high levels of process and solution adoption for assigned projects. Create and deploy training and facilitate Communities of Practice to ensure maximum user adoption and sustainability of implemented programs.

* Change management and communication - manage and influence differing stakeholder requirements. Ensure maximum buy-in from all stakeholders and lead the formulation of a cohesive vision for assigned projects.

Resources Managed (budget and FTEs)

Budget - ~$4M / Owns Integrated Logistics Platform (ILP)budget items and is responsible for specific projects and managing them effectively to achieve desired results

Qualifications

BS/BA in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Technical or Business field required; advanced degree preferred.

12-15+ years relevant logistics experience. 5 - 7 years Pharmaceutical and/or high volume Consumer Goods industry experience or 10+ years experience with a global logistics services provider. 3-5 years experience within cold chain logistics. 1-2 years previous supervisory experience required. This position requires demonstrated effective communication with a variety of internal and external partners as well as senior management.

Ability to work in a complex, global matrix organization with strong team work orientation required. Ability to work effectively in an environment of competing priorities.

Must have demonstrated consultative, influencing, analytical, strategic thinking, and problem solving skills in a global role. Strong oral and written communication, and presentation, data analysis and PC skills are required. Ability to interact and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization is imperative.
