Your mission

As a Software Engineer Machines, you take ownership in providing software solutions for state of the art intelligent machines. Your responsibilities are:
* Analyse the client's requirements and translate them into a solution
* Translate the defined architecture in a detailed design, implement and test it on a simulator and in real-life
* Set the coding rules for cost-efficient and maintainable software
* Program the software for the machines
* Document the code, solutions and test cases
* Continuous improve and optimise the concepts
* Interface with the internal production team and Project Leads
* Plot the timeframe of the software projects, make sure that qualitative results are delivered within the foreseen deadlines

You work closely with the software development team and you support the project leaders in the management of the projects and the cost estimation preparation.

Your experience

* Master degree in Engineering (Computer Sciences, Informatics) with 3 years of relevant experience
* Experienced in C++ and software development methodologies
* Able to interpret software specifications and norms correctly
* Familiar with ERP systems
* Excellent analytical, planning and organisation skills
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across departments
* Result driven teamplayer with problem solving skills
* Fluent in English and Dutch
