Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of the annual volume plan incl. strategic target definition and assumptions in close collaboration with other functions (e. g. Sales & Marketing). 

  • Breakdown of annual volume targets at channel- and customer level reflecting historical data and future strategy (incl. monthly split and aggregated product mix). 

  • Translate the volume targets by customer into a Sales Incentive Plan (Bonus)

  • Analysis of sales activity and results on a daily basis to identify risks and opportunities

  • Support Sales Team to sell the targeted volumes through proactive opportunity management & risk mitigation activities 

  • Calculation of monthly Sales estimate by channel using historical sales data, order entry trends, market development and qualitative Sales input (Sales View) 

  • Review and analyze the MIX-performance vs. plan (Brand, Segment, Channel, Customer) 

  • Challenge the Sales View assisted by analytical tools & business understanding 

  • Identify opportunities we are not exploiting supported by analytics & tools 

  • Manage the local S&OP process incl. preparation and presentation of the rolling forecast to European management

  • Compile reports to show progress and ROI of sell-in and sell-out campaigns 

  • Consult Sales in “selling the right tires” by providing data and related insights, analytical tools and recommendations 

  • Profile: experience/knowledge & skills:

  • Degree in a commercial/business subject or degree involving strong numerical background 

  • Strong IT- skills including Microsoft Office, especially with advanced MS Excel knowledge (e. g. VBA) 

  • Professional written and oral proficiency in Dutch and English, French is an asset. 

  • Excellent communicator (written and verbal). 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and deliver on time to a very high standard. 

  • Ability to extract insights from data, translate these into actionable activities. 

  • Effective team player with strong collaboration skills. 

  • Innovative and creative thinker – thinks ‘outside the box’. 

  • Proactive self-starter. 

  • Ability to be focused and positive in very challenging business situations
