As Sales Engineer you will be responsible for leading and coordinating Project & Head Quarter Sales activities with EPC Contractors Accounts on pumps for UK, Benelux and Norway with possibility of collaboration with Spanish customers. The position is expected to maintain good business relations with the customer base and to develop and establish new prospective customers. The position will be based in Coslada, Spain or Benelux and report into the Sales Manager in Europe.
This territory-based role requires a dynamic, self-motivated individual who understands the pump business and has the capacity to successfully communicate to achieve growth. The successful candidate will offer sales/marketing and technical experience in Pumps / Seals, as well as the ability to work within a European / Global sales team and make calculated decisions to deliver results. The understanding of the local markets, culture and language of the above-mentioned area positive elements in the recruitment process.
Responsibilities & Requirements: RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees Account Management activities within assigned territory with accountability for meeting sales quota, developing strong relationship with key customers, setting sales strategy for major projects and acquiring in-depth knowledge of all FLOWSERVE products.
Coordinate all commercial and technical aspects required to support RFP / RFIs managing and interpreting customer requirements.
Negotiating tender and contractual conditions including legal terms and conditions.
Manage overall relationship with customer and cultivate long-term relationships with senior management.
Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements
Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to existing and prospective customers.
Plan, implement and ensure the area sales plan is met or exceeded.
Meet annual financial and non-financial goals as agreed by management.
Maintain high-level customer contacts.
Conduct regular research to identify and constantly monitor new customer needs, competitors, industry trends and technological developments.
Develop and maintain good contacts with the manufacturing plants, so customer needs are addressed swiftly.
Support operations during contract close-outs and LDs negotiations. Follow-up on overdue receivables.
Guide the organization with regards pricing and expected MLP based on his best educated experience.
Coordinate multiple BU’s during the bidding and order fulfilment stage acting as a one Flowserve entity.
Keep records of sales, revenue, hit rate, market share, aftermarket return and other important business data.

Preferred Experience / Skills: REQUIREMENTS :
Engineering degree (mechanical or similar preferred).
Must have 2 – 3 years of experience with pumps, mechanical seals, compressors, or related industrial equipment.
Experience in Contractor Sales and Account Management within the industry will be highly considered.
Commercial Operations experience or similar is preferred.
Demonstrated skills in negotiation, communication, presentation and influencing.
Proficiency working knowledge of the English language verbally and in writing.
Team-player with well-developed interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and passionate about business. High attention to detail.
Proven time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
IT literate – MS Windows, Office, Outlook, Salesforce and computerized Configure, Price and Quote systems.
Self-starter that demonstrates initiative.
Commitment to implement best practices in Sales, and motivate others.
Superior multitasking skills, able to manage multiple projects/accounts simultaneously.
Ability and willingness to travel one the restrictions are lifted (35% of time) primarily throughout the area of responsibility is required.
