Quality Surveillance Engineer


- Mechanical equipment and nuclear fuel supply

- Quality surveillance of manufacturing and on-site installation

- Expertise in materials, manufacturing processes and nondestructive examination


  • You participate in the examination and approval of the contractor technical manufacturing file (specifications, procedures, drawings, ...)
  • You conduct quality surveillance of mechanical equipment manufacturing in contractors and suppliers workshops (including expertise for reception of base materials, casting and forging, qualification and implementation of welding processes, non-destructive examination (NDE), destructive tests, corrosion, …)
  • You conduct quality surveillance for the installation on-site of nuclear safety related equipment 
  • You coordinate the analysis and management of information related to fabrication activities, e.g. examination of nonconformity and incidents
  • You provides expertise in case of welding metallurgy problem, in the interpretations of codes, standards and specifications.


  • You are a welding engineer with mechnical background and ability to understand the manufacturing and control processes used 
  • You have at least 5 years experience in manufacturing follow-up and quality inspection
  • You speak fluently French or Dutch, and have a goof knowledge in English 
  • You have knowledge and interest in the construction norms and standards (ASME, DIN, AFNOR, ESPN, PED, …)
  • Ready to work in a nuclear power plant (including in controlled zone), and in shifts
