Job Overview and Responsibilities

With Solvay One Planet, Solvay shifts focus from an inward-looking approach to a holistic sustainability approach, taking into account its full impact on the entire value chain.  Mission  You will be responsible for developing our procurement people capability and building our intelligence analytics & knowledge to support the procurement function for the elaboration of their sourcing strategies for Indirect Domains with the objective to contribute to our performance and overall ambition. This mission will include the development and implementation of the Procurement Academy program leveraging e-learning opportunities while keeping it as a key enabler of the procurement family to perform at the best of their abilities.  Role 

  • Manage the market intelligence analyst team for Indirect Domains 
  • Ensure intelligence and analytical support to improve quality of strategies 
  • Develop the e-auction capability across the organization with the objective to boost our value creation
  • Define, enrich, maintain the content of the Procurement Academy to develop buyers capabilities 
  • Transform existing content to bring additional modularity to the training courses and foster digital channels
  • Gather market best practices and intelligence and leverage our partnership with “Procurement Leader” 
  • Network externally and internally to get inspiration to feed the Procurement Academy
  • Develop / maintain quality network of trainers to support the design & delivery of the Procurement Academy
  • Deliver with the support of a network of trainers (internal & external) the Procurement Academy courses
  • Facilitate the wide spreading & easy access to content of the Procurement Academy modules
  • Education and Experience

    University degree required, with strong experience in procurement and expertise in the field of strategic sourcing development and management.
