Works with state-of-the-art Lam deposition equipment to develop, optimize or transfer advanced deposition processes of various materials
Delivers creating solutions, designs and conducts experiments and interprets results
Characterize deposited materials and deposition processes with metrology and inspection tools available in imec cleanroom
Document and communicate plans, status, and results of R&D projects in written reports and presentations, including the analysis and interpretation of data
Collaborate with technical teams at imec and other Lam sites
Flexible to be cross trained into etch, clean processes and integration.

Leadership• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.• Works with cross-functional teams to get information and results needed
Customer Relations• Professionally represent the company to the customer. Utilize knowledge of company’s product lines and services to keep existing/ potential customers informed when new/ additional needs are identified.
University Degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics; related to semiconductor industry
Minimum 5 years experience in semiconductor industry and thin-film deposition.
Experienced with thin film characterization techniques (XPS, SIMS, RBS, AFM, XRR, XRD, TEM, SEM, and ellipsometry
Publication record that demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience with ALD, CVD, and material characterization.
Has good knowledge of semiconductor industry, CMOS process integration, semiconductor devices.
Has basic knowledge of electrical characterization techniques
In-depth understanding and working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE)
Interest in advanced technology and an on-going desire to learn
Strong aptitude for research/development and ability to build production-worthy technologies
Capable of working independently and to complete projects in a timely manner
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
