Hierarchical and Functional Reporting: Customer Support Manager

LOCATION: Charleroi

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Implement fault detection and predictive software solutions for trains equipped with ALSTOM ETCS.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

Define and implement the right solutions to perform corrective and maintenance on ERTMS products, developed in ALSTOM Charleroi.

  • Inputs from the locomotives already installed
  • architecture of the solution
  • Predictive algorithms
  • Ergonomics
  • Be a part of the team developing the solution in ALSTOM CHARLEROI
  • This to put in place a software solution that can allow the ALSTOM Customer to access a web interface that shows:

  • Situation and statistic of their fleet
  • Configuration of their fleet
  • Errors on their fleets
  • Prediction on errors that are likely to happen
  • Measurement

    · Customer satisfaction based on the reaction time to solve any issue from notification.

  • Accuracy of the prediction of faults by the defined algorithms.
  • Customer satisfaction on the ergonomic of the web portal
  • · The Quality of the Return of Experience in order to improve the reliability and the maintainability of the

    Alstom systems/products.

    ·The decrease of time spent on site issues by ALSTOM teams

    · Respect of the QCD (Quality Cost Delay) objectives defined.

    QUALIFICATION & COMPETENCIES - EXPECTED LEVEL

    QUALIFICATION:

    Education:  Master's degree in engineering (preferably computer science or server architecture)  or equivalent

    COMPETENCIES:

    Desired knowledge / Experience:

    · Knowledge in servers and database architecture

    · Knowledge in sensors and software programming

  • Experience in software programming documentation
  • Language skills:  Good knowledge in English and French language (spoken, read, written). Any other additional language with a preference for German, Dutch or Italian is an asset

    Behavioral skills & competencies:

    · Customer satisfaction and results orientated

    · Ability to use new technologies and tools.

    · Team Player and rigorous

    · Able to communicate in an open an clear manner with various stakeholders

    · Able to perform the global reporting of the activity.

    · Driving license (B).
