Logistics Coordinator EMEA


For our customer with its headquarters in Zaventem we are looking for a Logistics Coordinator EMEA who is responsible for managing all aspects of shipping routes and delivery.
As a Logistics Coordinator EMEA your daily job consists of:

 perform root cause analysis of the late shipments and drive corrective actions (OTIF report)
 lead complex export and import process, involving export licenses, customs clearance, temporary export, VAT (tax) recovery, etc.
 build and maintain the relationship with logistics provider
 monitor and manage the evolution of freight costs in line with budget
 manage process for insurance claims/liability claims on inventory shrinkage (stock damage, loss, etc. by service providers)
 produce Supply Chain KPl's on cost, volume, quality, service levels (weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc)
 support process of monitoring electronic communication between SAP and the warehouse (IDOCS) as well as communication from warehouse towards carriers.
 support activities related to compliance of our products and flow (temperature controlled, Dangerous goods shipments, etc).
 support intercompany shipments flow to other regions outside EMEA
 support in conducting market research to identify opportunities for logistics process optimization and potential cost reduction, prepare cost-benefit analysis, support any business case preparation


 responsible for collecting and analyzing EMEA figures related to transportation and warehouse services; highlight main problems and areas of concerns.
 consolidate complex data into management summaries, trends and patterns; ensure right visibility of data
 responsible for performing trend and budget analysis for EMEA region to drive improvements in cost and performance
 responsible for analyzing Sales Inventory, Operation and Planning (SIOP) to improve efficiency of services
 work closely with EMEA Logistics Manager and other departments and stakeholders:

 To support process improvements
 To support cost control initiatives
 To develop cross functional collaboration


Profiel en vaardigheden

 referably a Bachelor or master’s degree
 a minimum of 3 years experience in logistics/freight planning
 knowledge of SAP – at least the MM module
 strong English (written & verbal)
 advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of Salesforce is plus
 experience with reporting, interpretation and analysis of Logistics Key Performance indicators
 ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
 able to maintain and communicating standard operating procedures for transportation
 excellent analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
 detail oriented and able to follow up on corrective actions and complete root cause analysis, sharing learnings across regions
 strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Clear focus under pressure
 ability to be proactive and collaborate with different individuals across the organization and geographies, and "roll-up the sleeves" in order to accomplish all necessary tasks
