You will be accountable for sales of innovative collaborative robots (cobots) on the Belgium and Luxembourg (BeLux) markets driving sales volumes and margins. Collaborative robots take operations to the next level. They work hand in hand with humans balancing the imperative for safety with the need for flexibility and productivity. As a pioneer in robotics and automation, ABB offers the broadest portfolio on the market. You will inform and advise (future) customers about possible solutions to improve the productivity and quality of their production. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will use your experience and drive to build enduring customer relationships through excellent service. This position is graded as 15.

Your responsibilities

  • Working with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities
  • Monitoring customer and market trends along with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activities
  • Expanding the Cobot user group within the BeLux industry as well as among schools and universities by actively entering the market
  • Build professional customer relationships through regular customer visits and participation in customer events
  • Using your knowledge of customers’ needs and ABB’s solutions to determine effective solutions for customers
  • Your background

  • A proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Strong commercial drive and want to develop further in front-end sales
  • A Master degree in a technical or commercial field
  • Demonstrable affinity with technology. Knowledge of robotics and its applications is an advantage
  • Good communication skills in Dutch, French and English
  • Driving license B needed to visit customers with your company car
