What you will do as a Junior RPG developer
You are responsible for the development and maintenance of various IT components and interfaces of an existing application that supports the administration of dozens of Belgian hospitals. As a teammate, you are proactive and together with your colleagues you make sure all developments are finalised according to the planning. You work with your teammates and come up with innovative solutions for complex challenges. You can count on the help and expertise of your more experienced colleagues.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

You're passionate about working as a developer. Furthermore, you love working in a team that is almost family, with lots of specialised knowledge. You are eager to learn new technologies and ways of working and would love to become part of a young an innovative department within IBM. For this role we are looking for a person with 2-5 years of experience, and someone who further wants to build his or her career in IBM. We are looking for the following in our new colleague:
* You have 2 to 3 years of experience in program development with RPG;
* You have a broad understanding of various programming and test methodologies and tools;
* You know when you have to apply which method to achieve the desired results;
* You know how to translate business requirements into technical specifications;
* You have a good understanding of Data Modeling;
* You are motivated to develop new skills with regards to IBM technologies.

* Experience in programming with Java is a plus point.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for this great role and become part of our amazing team, we ask that you have a professional bachelor in IT. In addition, you are fluent in English, and Dutch or French is your mother tongue. If you speak all three languages, it?s a plus. Lastly, you are entitled to work in Belgium.
