Junior/Medior .NET developer
Cigna is a global health insurance company, dedicated to its mission of helping the people we serve to improve their health, well-being and sense of
security. We are a mature but dynamic company in transition (agile adoption, datacenter migration, cloud adoption) with open communication towards colleagues and management. We keep alive the highest concept of wellness and provide our customers the best service.
Do you enjoy talking to people? Are you seeking a multicultural environment at a TOP EMPLOYER company where you can develop your career?
Together with +700 colleagues spread over all continents (with 4 main offices in Kuala Lumpur, Nairobi, Antwerp and Madrid) you will help us deliver on the promise of our mission "to help the people we serve improve their health, their wellbeing and their sense of security". We serve +500.000 customers worldwide. You will be located in our Antwerp (BE) office, with full flexibility to work from home.
To strengthen our IT department we are currently looking for a passionate Junior or Medior Application Development Engineer to join our Digital Squad, a self-organized, cross functional team in the IGO/NGO Tribe within Cigna's International Markets. Together with the team, you will take ownership of its supported applications, continuously improving and extending them and making sure they keep running smoothly in the production environment.
You are customer oriented while keeping performance in mind. You keep an overall view on all components of the applications in the squads portfolio and
know how to find the right balance between future-proof solutions and fast-to-market requirements. You have a business drive, passion for technology and are eager to learn. Above all, you have a can-do attitude where you roll up your sleeves and just do it.
Don't worry, you don't have to do this alone; you will work closely with the other developers, the Product Owner, Scrum Master, Business Analyst and testers in your squad, and with the internal customer and our architects. On top of that, you are supported by the Developer Chapter, the group of .NET developers working in all IGO/NGO squads.
We value traits like an agile mindset, passion & positivism. We are looking for colleagues who take responsibility and want to make a difference. To collaborate in an international environment, English language skills are required (written and spoken).
