Junior Field Service Engineer
Job Description Summary
As a Junior BD Bioscience Engineer, you are in charge of maintenance, repair & installation of our Flow Cytometers at client site.
Provide field-based and remote technical support to customers and colleagues
Carry out preventative maintenance, installation, relocation, repairs and corrective field change orders on Flow Cytometry instrumentation.
Diagnose electrical, fluidic, mechanical, hardware, software and laser failures using established procedures and techniques.
Determine the most efficient repair/solution to ensure minimum downtime.
Perform instrument certifications (IQ/OQ).
Actively manage your car stock, ensuring all vital spare parts and tools are available.
Effective management of technical escalations.
Cover the Netherlands with occasional travel throughout the Benelux area.
You have a degree in Electrical Engineering or meaningful experience. You are very solution-oriented and customer-centric. Others describe you as a very hardworking person that can adapt easily to new technologies. Some IT knowledge (such as network diagnosis and system connectivity) is a huge plus. You have a driver's license and are currently living within a daily commutable distance of the center of The Netherlands (Region Den Haag, Amsterdam, Utrecht and Rotterdam).
