My client is one of the biggest actor in the mining & metals industry. We are actively looking for an IT Support Technician. Your main objective will be to provide technical support and answer all support queries either onsite or via phone/email.
Your main activities and responsibilities will be to :
Provide technical support & answer support queries either onsite or via phone / emailMaintain a high degree of customer service for all support queriesTake ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues.Log all calls on the call logging system and maintain full documentation.Respond to enquiries from clients and help them resolve any hardware or software problems.Implement, managing and maintaining workstationsPerform installations, upgrades & deployment of workstations to Microsoft Windows 10Troubleshooting & Problem solving of Workstation related problemsImaging and preparing assets such as laptops and mobile devices for deployment to users, ensuring assets are tagged and entered into the asset management systemProviding remote support\troubleshootingCarrying out routine maintenance of IT systemsSupport users in the use of Computer equipment by providing necessary training and adviceLocal assistance for the L2/L3 System Administrators (Server, Network, Application, ERP)
At least 3 years of experience in IT support
Microsoft advanced knowledge (workstations & serversà
Cisco networks knowledge
Administration experience of MS Active Directory users & groups, policies & management concepts
Excellent interpersonal skills
Sense of priority
