As a global critical financial infrastructure, the protection of Euroclear information and assets is fundamental to the company’s business. Information security is at the core of our services, firmly embedded in the management systems and processes of the company. You will be joining our CISO (Chief Information Security Office) in charge of putting in place the required controls to adequately and effectively protect our information assets.
You will join the CISO office team who manages and coordinates:
Organizational development of the CISO division
Security governance structures (Group Security Committee, Service Dialogues...)
Finances of the CISO division
CISO strategy and Cyber Risk Management Strategy (CRMS) operations
Relationship with regulators on security related topics
Information Security reporting to executive management
Service Definition and Delivery Status
Security awareness, culture and transformation
Your role will primarily be outward facing from CISO to the CSDs (Central Securities Depositories).CSDs are service consumers of CISO services and may be located in different countries.
Understand and be familiar with the execution of the agreed cyber security strategy and policies across security, business, IT, local teams and senior stakeholders.
Collaborate and engage with the local security stakeholder and business owners, specifically through local security leads to support the security vision, strategy and policies across the Group and communicate this to the CSDs where needed.
Support central/local alignment for security execution, projects, BAU activities and organisation-wide programme objectives.
Coordinate the operational security governance structure and forums including scheduling, preparing of inputs (such as metrics dashboard, reports, risks and incident details, progress reporting and escalation matters), required outputs (approvals, further escalations, actions to follow-up) and prepare reports for the CSDs pertinent to their service consumption
Provide technical / subject matter support to Entity discussions.
Own and manage any issues or escalations forthcoming from the CSDs
Feedback regularly to CISO and other divisions on CSD status to support efficient communications and issue management across the group
You have extensive experience in working with senior technical and business stakeholders;
Minimum 5 years practical experience in technical project/programme management.
A strong technical background of different technologies and infrastructure solutions
More generally, the ideal candidate will have the ability to structure and organize the delivery of various technical and business topics and issues across Euroclear, building and maintaining relationships with various divisions, CSDs and service partners.
You have an up-to-date knowledge of Cyber security trends, threats and defence strategies;
You have experience in IT security and business stakeholder engagement;
You are experienced in the development and maintenance of security remediation activities;
Professional certification such as GIAC, ISC2, ISACA, PRINCE2, PMI is an advantage
You can prove experience in working successfully in a multi-disciplinary team
You can communicate with Senior Management stakeholders as well as chairing meetings with a mixed audience of senior technical people and senior business people.
