As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing IT projects considering scope, planning, resources and budget with a global approach. To accomplish this, the Project Manager will follow the PMO’s direction regarding standards, methodology, and tools which will allow him to manage artifacts to successfully complete the initiation, execution, testing, go live and post go live project phases/milestones.Job location:EuropeRESPONSIBILITIESIntakeCompletes project charterEngages project team resources and/or works with the functional managers and vendors to on board internal and external resources as stated in the business caseFacilitates and documents RACIFacilitates, defines and documents the change control process suitable for the projectDefines and route all other admin artifacts needed by the project team, ex. Teams site/group, Jira tickets, sharepoint etc.Initiation-PlanningFacilitates and coordinates requirement elicitation, completion, review and final sign off from all key stakeholdersFacilitates and confirms metrics to measure project success post go liveLocks down scopeExecution (Design, Build, Testing)Gathers, estimates and documents the project plan (WBS), gets approval and locks down the Go live dateDefines and documents phases, key milestones and identifies pathDocuments and gets approval for all completed milestones from the Governance ControllerDefines monthly reviews to track financials and capex/opex project timeDefines meetings cadence and schedules them to track status at the tactical level but also at the more leadership level via Steering Committees or executive Steering CommitteesTracks and documents risk/issues on a regular basis and formulates mitigation plans as neededFacilitates, documents and gets sign off for deployment, communication, training and business readiness plans. Secures execution of all these plansTracks and confirms that testing plan is documented, signed off and executedGo Live (Go Live, Hypercare, Post Review)Leads efforts of all resources globally and executes dry runs as neededGets final sign off and stakeholders’ support to execute cut overLeads efforts and facilitates coordination during go live activities and addresses situations and other issues in a timely manner and effectivelyLeads efforts in case of roll back activitiesInforms all key participants and send formal reports to the leadershipLeads hypercare efforts and send daily reportsConducts lessons learned and track post production metrics in coordination with the Business Relationship ManagerYOUR PROFILEYou have a relevant Bachelor’s Degree: Information Technology or Computer Science You have 7+ years of applicable experience in managing projectsYou have 7+ years of demonstrated experience managing medium to large IT ERP integrations projects (SAP is a plus)A PMI certification (PMP) is desiredKnowledge of PPM tools is a plusYou have a formal training or experience with working with project management tools, techniques and best practicesYou have experience with managing and coordinating large deployment activities critical for complex projectsYou are fluent in English, any other European language is a plusYou have proven communications skills as this position will work with a wide variety of individuals at all levels of the organizationYou have leadership skills as you will normally be managing associates and other parties in a matrix environmentYou have excellent presentation skillsYou have interpersonal skills; you are able to manage relationships and deal with conflicts in a professional and objective manner You work as part of a team and you are able to perform independentlyYou are self-motivated and entrepreneurialYou have the ability to thrive in a time-sensitive, high energy, demanding entrepreneurial environment, balancing internal and external demandsYou have the ability to effectively manage vendor, contractor and business partner relationships during the project duration; you have a clear understanding of key accounting concepts (capitalization vs. expense)OUR OFFERWe offer you a permanent contract with the possibility to work from home, an attractive salary and extralegal advantages..We will use the personal information that you have submitted to us in order to consider your application for the relevant role.Your privacy is important to us.
