Do you know a fourth industrial revolution is taken place? Would you like to be part of it?

The increased importance of data, predictive maintenance and outcome based contracting are changing our maintenance service business. This requires a redesign of our processes and systems with a focus on capturing data about the machine/customer application from the design of the machine up to the de-commissioning of the installation. To have an up-to-date view of our equipment (digital twin), data needs to be processed, stored and distributed across different systems: maintenance, production and engineering.

The Role
Do you like to see the big picture and have contact with multiple stakeholders and specialists? Do you like new technologies and experimenting with new systems?

As part of the team working on predictive maintenance, you will be close to an important driver to centralize and update our machine information. You will be involved in IT and data architecture discussions. With the future of maintenance services in mind, you will have the opportunity to learn and influence our current IT solutions and processes. Good knowledge of SAP is a plus but also integration with engineering (PLM) software, IoT and Big Data platforms (Azure) are in scope.

After learning about the existing set-up and roadmaps you will need to define the functional IT needs to enable an up-to-date view of the installed machines (digital twin) and enable predictive maintenance. Special focus is needed on data management to store and distribute the digital twin of our machines. However, also system integration and process optimization is key: potential missing links identified can lead to the implementation of new software. You will involve the different stakeholders to align and realize our objectives. So next to IT analysis skills you like to coordinate and discuss with people.

What we expect from you?

  • Degree in IT/computer science or equivalent experience in IT functional/system analysis.
  • Passionate about rethinking current systems and processes
  • Curious attitude and a tendency to see the big picture
  • Good in structuring information and finding workable solutions for all parties involved
