Our customer is a well-known, internationally oriented company based near Brussels ( Zaventem).
As IT architect you are responsible for all IT systems, compliancy and best practices in terms of ICT & Security.
Within a small team you will organize and improve the ICT landscape. You will collaborate with external ICT service providers to achieve the corporate goals.
Functieomschrijving
You will identify, evaluate and report to IT management on IT, security and compliance issues/risks and propose/implement remediation .
You ensure that high availability scenarios are at least tested once a year and that recovery mechanisms are available.
You translate group projects, policies and procedures into workable solutions.
You are in charge of the integrity, availability, confidentiality of all IT systems.
Budget and resource planning, management of the assignment of internal employees and external service providers and specialists.
You will report to the Head of Infrastructure, Operations and DevOps.
Vereiste ervaring
University degree or graduate in Information Technology
Several years experience within one or more ICT areas: Information Technology, Security, Network , Systems, Cloud, Data, Virtualization ...
ICT Certifications and Certification in Information Security Management and/or Risk Assessment is a plus (e.g. CISM and/or CISA and/or CRISC)
Experience in managing and working with multiple stakeholders
Knowledge of the information security principals
Experience with auditing and process evaluation is a plus
Good knowledge of project management.
Excellent communication skills and assertiveness
Handson mentality
Pronounced structured, solution-oriented and conceptual way
Strong organizational skills
English fluency, knowledge of Dutch and French are assets
