    ISS is seeking a pool of talented and self-motivated data interns from February 2022. The internships coincide with “proxy voting season ” supporting listed companies with their annual shareholder meeting responsibilities.

    Data Procurement interns will assist ISS' corporate governance analysts with data procurement, agenda coding and voting analytics of the annual general meetings of publicly traded companies.

    As a Data Procurement intern, you will become an integral part of the team with the crucial role of collecting and processing data on shareholder meetings of listed companies. The data compiled notably includes shareholder meeting agendas and voting analytics which you are expected to translate into a meaningful format for ISS clients.


  • Procure shareholder meeting materials (agendas, proxy cards, annual reports) from companies and process the meeting information in our bespoke software
  • Procure voting results from meetings and enter into our bespoke software
  • Process the procured meeting material report data into a standard format for our clients in English
  • Communicate with listed companies in collecting relevant proxy season information
  • Act as a support for all other internal departments with regards to all questions related to companies, meetings etc.
  • Desired qualifications

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree in economics, business or finance or in the process of obtaining such a degree.
  • A good eye for detail with strong analytical and numeracy ability
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to assimilate large quantities of information, work independently and take initiative while also being a team player
  • An organized and structured mind to deal with large quantities of work and strict deadlines
  • Fluent (both spoken and written) English AND one of the following language combinations;
  • Danish and/or Swedish and/or Norwegian
  • Dutch
  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Russian (Polish is a plus)
  • This internship is remunerated (€1,840 gross monthly + additional benefits) and will run for 5 months starting in February 2022.

    Working conditions: 

  • Interns are required to be based in the country of employment as of Day 1 of their internship with ISS.
  • Depending on the status of our return to office plans Interns may start with remote working, but there is potential for return to the office. It is preferable that candidates are located commuting distance to the office from Day 1.
  • Applicants should apply online by sending a CV in English along with a one-page cover letter. The cover letter should explain why you are interested in corporate governance, in joining ISS and why you are suitable for the role.
