OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
* Manage all the Industrial Operations on products, tenders and projects (Industrialization, Supply Chain, Industrial Transfer, Manufacturing, Sourcing and Field Operations) for the Site & Project offices;
* Manage related performance (Q, C, D, EHS) in line with strategy, targets and in compliance with Alstom policies (APSYS), standards (incl. local regulations).

In this respect the person in charge complies with Ethics and Compliance policies.

The Industrial Operations Director reports to the Site Managing Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Plan and lead Management Cycle of Industrial Operations Department (day-to-day to yearly plan)
* Deploy industrial processes and related continuous improvement action plan in Site and Project offices
* Contribute to Industrial process reviews lead by process owners sharing Return of Experience and best practices
* Monitor, report and develop on Department performance:
+ Budget, Customer service level, Productivity, Production capacity, planning adherence, Inventories, Lead-time, POH and Maturity (e.g. Best practice Alstom - APSYS)
+ Supplier panel development and follow-up
+ Tenders & Projects Performance (QCD commitment, Turn Around Time)
+ Site & Project offices Performance (Transfer of Competencies, Methods and Tools)
+ EHS, railways safety requirements
* Upgrade competencies matrixes, establish the Staffing Plan (i.e. Recruitment, Trainings, Retirement Plans, …) in line with Site strategy and implement it

Performance measurement:
* Productive Hours, Work Order Closure, Spent Time vs Methods Time, Project Industrial Review Go On Time, Repairs Turn Around Time
* Supply chain pack: OTIF customer, OTIF supplier, Hard Inventories, MPS accuracy
* Field Operations: QCD in execution of activities (installation, design, T&C) and Maturity Roadmaps
* Sourcing: savings follow-up, QCD suppliers
* Follow-up of the respective delivery plans
* EHS

Qualifications & Skills:

EDUCATION

Engineering degree in Operations, Industrial, Supply Chain

EXPERIENCE
