Hardware Design Engineer
Working in a continuously evolving environment you will be part of a team that is developing complete systems to test and support state-of-the-art CMOS image sensors. There are three main categories of systems you will work on: test systems, evaluation systems and reference designs.
The HW that you will help to develop is intended to ensure the outgoing quality of image sensor products. Your day to day job will range from high-speed PCB design, over FPGA work to HW-SW integration and debugging.
During the new product development phase a System Development engineer is part of a cross functional team and has as main responsibility to define and extract the system requirements to support the new products. You will function as a HW designer.
Your performance and growth is monitored, assessed and rewarded, you will have an individual development plan based on your competences and interests.
The ideal candidate is an expert on the different fronts of HW design. As a minimum he/she masters all phases of hardware development, including schematic entry, manually generated constraints, requirements of the constraints and board layout. He/she has experience with high-speed FPGA design. The candidate has a good knowledge of analog and digital electronics. Any hands-on experience with product bring-up, product validation, lab environment and production test are considered as valuable in this position.
