We are looking for an amazing Front-End Developer to join our joyful team to skyrocket our projects in 2022 and beyond!

About the Role:

You’ll be part of the Lead Generation & Customer Lifecycle squad and will be in charge of implementing visual elements and their behaviors with user interactions.
Working hand-in-hand with back-end web developers to build all client-side logic, you will also be bridging the gap between the visual elements and the server-side infrastructure.

What you will do:

  • Develop new user-facing features

  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use

  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

  • Find elegant solutions to usability problems

  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

  • Stay up-to-date on new Web technologies that will make AppTweak better, faster, and stronger.

  • Participate in code review, pairing, and other forms of knowledge sharing

Technologies we use

  • In the beginning, we wrote our frontend in BackboneJS and decided to move to React three years ago.

  • Since then, we have built a Single Page Application based on React/Redux/Redux-sagas, written in TypeScript, with the standard tooling (Webpack, Babel, ES6, ESLint, and Prettier).

  • To allow our frontend to consume our data, we built a set of services that interact with our API layer (REST APIS built on Ruby).

  • Our infrastructure is based on K8s, and we have created a robust CI system to develop and deploy our code quickly. We deploy directly from Slack!

What we expect from you:

  • 3+ years of industry experience building fast and reliable web-based applications

  • You are fluent in English.

  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX

  • Proficient in browser rendering behavior and performance

  • Knowledgeable about modern Web technologies and excited to learn new ones

  • Proven track record in contributing and working with components library and design systems.

  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset: you're hands-on and autonomous. You find creative solutions to problems in a fast-moving environment.

  • Team player: you enjoy working with others. You have a proactive attitude and you like to make things move forward.

  • Sensitivity to design in general and user experience

  • GitHub profile or link to open source work

  • Full-stack experience

  • You love food!

What’s in it for you:

  • Opportunity to connect with a variety of high-profile apps and games across different verticals. The results of your work will be seen by hundreds of thousands of app store users ;)

  • An exciting and fast-growing company with a people-first culture. “Diversity” and “work-life balance” are not just buzzwords at AppTweak.

  • Flexibility in your work and opportunities for continuous learning and creative thinking.

  • Bi-yearly company-wide team building in Europe

  • 20 paid holidays per year + 12 days RTT and many other benefits.

  • Hybrid office/work from home environment

So if you are motivated, ready to learn, and have a curious and innovative mindset, we’d love to meet you!

Please note you will need a valid visa/work permit to be eligible for the role in the country you are applying for.
