Freelance Hardware Design Engineer

Being our electronics problem solver, your profile will look like this:

  • Sustain, specify, design, test, simulate and realize high-speed hardware, both analogue and digital.
  • Understanding and working on the complete system of high-speed data acquisition, digital camera interfacing and high-speed interconnects.
  • Help our service organisations with daily customer problems.
  • Centralizing documentation and application information to make it accessible for other departments.
  • Presenting ideas and information accurately and explain industry jargon to different stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across various TOMRA offices to share knowledge, initiatives and standardize designs and processes where appropriate.
  • This job is interesting for you if:

  • You have a Master’s degree in electronics engineering or similar through experience.
  • You have strong hardware engineering skills, especially in digital design, PCB, micro controllers, FPGA interfacing and architectures. Experience with VHDL is a must.
  • Experience with System-C and embedded software (C/C++) considered a plus.
  • You have 2-3 Years industry experience in a similar role.
  • You are fluent in English, both oral and written. Dutch is a plus.
  • You are willing to travel, on average 2-3 days per month.
  • You are someone with very good attention to detail when executing tasks and projects.
