
Financial Analyst
Lubrizol, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is a market-driven global company that combines complex, specialty chemicals to optimize the quality, performance and value of customers’ products while reducing their environmental impact. For our Oevel Plant we are looking for a Financial Analyst.
Summary of Responsibilities
The Financial Analyst is an active participant in the execution of business strategy and delivering relevant short-term and long-term financial analyses to support profitable business growth. In addition, this role is responsible for goal setting, providing updates on financial progress, improvement initiatives, budgeting, and financial reporting.

The Oevel production plant is with more than 160 employees the largest plant of Lubrizol Advanced Materials in Belgium. We make two plastics: Estane® thermoplastic polyurethane, and TempRite® chlorinated polyvinylchloride. These products are distributed from Oevel in the form of pellets or powders to our customers around the world, whereupon it is processed to a wide range of applications: leisure products and textile, sprinkler systems, medical material, water piping, cables and wires, textile,…
There are several departments present in this plant, Warehouse, Production, Maintenance, Quality- and application labs, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, HR, HS&E, Planning, Purchasing, Sales etc. In short, on this site you will find colleagues from diverse backgrounds who work in a larger context of an international American company.
