Engineer - Service Reliability - TIO Fixed Voice Core (TN)



  • Ensures reliability, quality and maintainability of Fix Voice Core platforms and services
  • Acts as an expert and go-to person within the Voice Core Operations domain with regard to service reliability.
  • SIP Troubleshooting using protocol inspection, signaling analysis, logfile analysis, active testing
  • Close co-operation with Engineering in product and network developments within his own work domain and cross-domain.
  • Implementation of work orders regarding network growth and introduction of new technologies
  • Implements automation to reduce toil
  • Integrates and realises creative solutions, tooling and optimisations with a focus on maximising customer satisfaction and cost efficiency.
  • You test and implement new hardware and software, based on the test plans (ATP).
  • You check alarms and take suitable actions for alarm clearing and take preventive actions.
  • 24/7 on-call duty

  • You have a high-level qualification (Master/Engineering/Licentiate level) in a technical field (ICT, telecom, electronics) or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge and/or experience with voice core technology and protocols are desired.
  • Preferably you have 5+ years hands on experiencing with the SIP protocol and analyzing call flows.
  • Familiar with scripting/programming languages
  • You are very analytical and solution minded.
  • You are proud of your big sense of responsibility and customer focus.
  • You work accurate by yourself and in team.
  • You are organisationally strong, assertive and communicative.
