Drawing Engineer

DEME infra is involved in marine infrastructure and civil works that complement and reinforce the company’s dredging activities. These include the design and construction of hydraulic works such as jetties, port terminals, locks and weirs; infrastructural works such as bored, immersed and cut and cover tunnels, foundation and marine works for bridges or other constructions in a marine or fluvial environment, as well as civil works for harbor construction, dams and sea defenses, canal construction, revetment, quay wall construction and shore protection.

As a Drawing Engineer you will focus on the development of technical solutions for these complex civil and maritime works.

  • Support the tender or project team in the development of technical solutions for the civil and marine projects
  • Make 2D and 3D drawings for the civil and marine projects
  • Perform clash analysis
  • Generate 4D-simulations of construction processes
  • Exchange best practices within the BIM-team
  • You are a member of the Engineering Department of DIMCO and report to its manager
  • You have experience with the modelling software Autodesk Infrastructure Design Suite (Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks
  • You have relevant knowledge of marine and infrastructure construction projects
  • You are fluent in English. Knowledge of other languages is an asset
  • You can handle strict deadlines and are able to work under pressure
  • You are persistent in a diplomatic way and you value teamwork
