Validate and challenge business functional and non-functional change requests, and translate these into fit-for-purpose end-to-end IT system solutions.
Produce system requirements documentation and/or guidance serving as input for the different IT teams (Development, Infrastructure, Security, Services).
Liaise with Enterprise Architects with regards to compliance with corporate standards and guidelines.
Ensure the solution is supported by all stakeholders: business representatives, fellow solution architects, development teams, security architects, infrastructure architects and application support teams.
Report progress to IT project management and project stakeholders and sponsors.
Participate in meetings, workshops and brainstorm sessions, in migration strategy definition and in any change management activities.

Expert and recent practical professional experience in IT analysis, solution architecture and requirements documentation.
Expert experience in applying application architecture and Enterprise Application development patterns (Monolith, SOA / EDA, Microservices) and the software platforms that implement these.
Expert experience with API management, protocols and data formats (SOAP, REST, XML/XSD, JSON, ...).
Expert experience with object oriented analysis, design and programming.
Expert experience working in a mixed project management environment, both Agile and Waterfall.
Expert experience of database technologies & concepts.
Advanced experience with IT Security concepts.
Advanced experience with IT Service / Change Management processes (ITSM/ITIL).
Whatare great skills to have?
Having experience with business requirement modelling and requirements gathering techniques (BPMN, UML, Event Storming).
Having experience in large scale complex enterprise application integration projects.
Having JAVA knowledge and / or having previously worked as a JAVA developer (JAVA EE).
Having knowledge of modern Web and Mobile development stacks and frameworks (Angular, React JS).
Having knowledge of traditional and modern integration platforms (IBM MQ / MuleSoft / Apache Camel / Apache Kafka).
