What you will do as a DevOps Engineer
You?ll work on site at one of our clients, where you and your teammates come up with innovative solutions for complex challenges. To do so, you can count on an international network of top specialists. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team which will automate the deployment of infrastructure and applications. Next to the on premises deployments, you will be exposed to the latest technologies: private, hybrid and public Clouds, containers, scripting ? do we need to continue? You will be in charge of the automated deployment of various platforms like Linus, AIX and Windows. On top of your development activities, you will also take interviews, present new ideas and apply your leadership skills.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
We are looking for the following in our new colleague:
* You have experience in an OO programming language;
* You have basic scripting skills in Bash and Powershell;
* You have basic networking knowledge: UCP, TCP, DHCP, VLAN, DNS, IP, Firewall, Virtual Machines;
* You have basic UNIX knowledge;
* You have hands-on experience with git;
* You have knowledge of modern application methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Agile...);
* You show interest in DevOps and Cloud;
* Going rather broad than deep is attractive to you;
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Unicorn people are scarce. But maybe you are one, or you want to become one. Knowledge of the following technologies would be a plus:
* Experience in Ruby;
* Experience in one of Chef, Puppet, Ansible or Salt;
* Experience in UrbanCode Deploy;
* Knowledge in Windows Server 2012, 2016;
* Knowledge in RetHat Enterprice Linux 7;
* Experience in SQL;
* Some experience in building and/or testing;
* Knowledge about CI/CD concepts and products (Jenkins, Gitlab...);
* Knowledge in Active Directory and/or LDAP;
* You have previously worked as a software developer or you have some project experience;
* Experience in DevOps related topics.

To be eligible for this great role and become part of our amazing team, we ask that you have a professional bachelor in IT. In addition, you are fluent in English, and Dutch or French is your mother tongue. If you speak all three languages, it?s a plus. Lastly, you are entitled to work in Belgium.
