Development Environment Support Engineer – DevOps profile
The Support Engineer is in charge of the support of the development environment of a critical system for one of our customer in the aviation domain.
He/She reports to the Support team leader.
Support the legacy software development environment and its Users.
Enhance and maintain the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes with the associated systems and tools.
Provide the appropriate ALM working practices and training.
Participate to improvement projects when support team resources are required.
Assist the team leader to reach the defined objectives.
Draft and update relevant documentation.
Perform any other task in line with the main purpose of the job.
The above activities are performed as member of the customer support team from its Brussels office.
Very good understanding of Agile practices and mainly SAFe framework.
Good experience with ALM processes, systems and practices (requirements management, source code management, tests management…).
Good experience in deploying DevOps pipelines (CI/CD).
Good experience with main DevOps tools (Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes…)
Awareness of software security principles applicable to the SDLC.
Good knowledge of virtualization and cloud (MS Azure).
Good knowledge of Linux.
Experience of software development practices in large projects.
Teamwork spirit and communication skills.
Customer oriented and support minded.
Fluent in English
