As a Data Analyst, you'll join a globally-integrated team helping leading organizations to operate more effectively in moving goods around the world. You'll contribute technical skills to team assignments and advise on ways to implement strategies. If you have limited knowledge about global trade, no problem, we’ll provide trainings on trade matters.
Your key responsibilities
Perform data analytics to help solve business challenges and achieve data automation, reconciliation, traceability, lineage and transparency.
Use data analytics & process mining to provide actionable, timely and accurate data to drive business insights Collecting data; You research, extract, enrich, transform, and consolidate all required data needed to meet the data information requirements of the business owners; Analyzing results: You process, interpret, and analyze the collected data as required. You identify insightful patterns and trends in data sets; Mastering data visualization; You make sure the data and the insights gained are properly visualized, both content- and design-wise. You set up interactive reports and dashboards; Helping develop reports and analysis; You define new data collection and analysis processes in order to anticipate the future business needs.
Collaborate with a team of customs and international trade professionals to combine diverse cross-border transaction experience with local tax knowledge across a broad spectrum of industries.
To qualify for the role you must have:
You obtained a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Sciences, (Commercial) Engineering; Applied Economics or any other relevant field
2 – 5 years of experience in Data Analysis or Business Intelligence
Experience using at least one of these scripting language and tool : SQL, C++, C#, R, Python, Alteryx, ClickView, Tableau, Power BI,…
You are fluent in Dutch and English and preferably also French
You’re willing to travel
An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving;
Hands-on mindset and eager to learn;
A (thorough) understanding of SAP will also be considered as an important consideration.
