Chapter Lead Security Engineer

· Ready to spend an important part of your time on building up expertise in your chapter and developing your chapter members. You are enthusiastic about transferring your knowledge to others, and about coaching around approximately 10 members of your Chapter and oversee their personal development Your role … As Chapter Lead you hierarchically lead a chapter of max 10 Ops Engineers (40% of time) · Responsible the personal development and evaluation of his/her chapter members, · Encourages his/her chapter members to develop themselves. Provides coaching both in terms of professional and of personal development. · Supports recruiting of talents & sourcing external engineers As a Security Engineer in a Security squad (60% of your time) · You have an up-to-date vision regarding IT Security expertise and you also have functional knowledge of some Banking Business domains. · You are able to get all typical and other backlog items (user stories) from 'to do' to 'done'. · You are (primarily responsible for) creating and implementing security solutions for applications, mainframes, client/server platforms, networks and associated software environments. · You define standards and ensure they are implemented (by your squads and others) so that IT risk is and remains under control · You perform code reviews, developing automated tests; · You contribute to site security management, · You are responsible for (ethical) hacking, · You ensure system security monitoring and the installation and maintenance of security tools. · An energetic Chapter Lead with people management responsibilities, deep knowledge in a particular application, infrastructure or architecture-related topic · At least a competent Security Engineer with a passion for IT , Security and positive can-do mindset.
